Bruce Power
In March, 2007, Fritz secured a contract with Energy Solutions, Inc. to provide nuclear waste containers for Phase 1 of Bruce Nuclear Generating Station refurbishment project (Bruce A, Units 1 and 2), near Kincardine, Ontario.
Fritz is finishing up the production of concrete liners for stainless steel containers in which nuclear waste is stored (Retube Waste Containers, or RWCs). We are adding rebar and concrete to three different types of RCWs for storing used pressure tubes, calandria tubes, and end fittings.
At the same time we have a contract with another high profile Nuclear Supplier to manufacture high density insulating bricks for shielding the nuclear boilers for the reactors.
